 HISTORY
The Parish of the Resurrection came into being on July 1, 1997, a powerful sign of God's presence in downtown Jersey City. The parish is the result of a bold vision
to unite five neighboring churches into one community of faith. The entire parish family was invited to participate in planning for the new parish, and these ideas
and dreams have become the cornerstone of the Parish of the Resurrection.
The result is a unique combination of five church communities united in the love of God and the profound desire to share that love with others.
